If the spinner isn't spinning for very long, then...
- Make sure to pull down quickly and in a linear path. Pulling slowly or off to the side won't work.
- Tilt the launcher forward as soon as the string releases from the spinner.
If the wheels or cable tie are sliding around the dowel, then...
- Apply a small amount of glue where the wheel hub or cable tie touches the dowel.
